This 12x12 Acrylic on Canvas painting features a building that houses Chicago's Logan Square Auditorium. It was commissioned as a Christmas present and was given to the owner of the landmark venue by his girlfriend. This building has been there for nearly a century, and has many architectural details that make it very unique (such as the eagles perched on its corners). I have seen many great concerts at the Auditorium, and was thrilled to work on this commission! It's been reported to me that this was a very succesful surprise gift.
Below is a series photos, documenting the painting's progress up to the last shot of it completed.
