I am a visual artist and graphic designer, so I look for creative inspiration everywhere. Originally from Ukraine, I moved to the U.S. at the age of 14 and since then lived in several American cities, as well as Italy. Long ago, I realized that I can’t exist without exploring the world, so traveling became a “must” to nurture my creative process. I work out of my home studio in Chicago.

Several years ago, I started painting places that I visit, and since then enjoyed creating art more than ever. Recently, I made the daring leap into doing arts full time, and now I feel like I am doing exactly what I want to do in life.

At art shows, people always ask me how I paint and how I get my ideas for future works. When I discuss my trips, the public wants to know what I saw and experienced. All this questioning has led me to put create this Art & Travel Blog. Plus, now I have an excuse to take thousands of photos everywhere I go.
